CONFERENCE ORGANISATION

You are going to hear about Katharine D'Amico's experience of organising an international congress for Tourism professionals. She talks about the experience of preparing for the event, what were the most difficult things to plan for, the social programme, the reaction of the attendees andfinally she gives advice to those who may have to do something similar in the future.

TASKS:

The unit tasks require you to listen to various sections of audio (using Real Audio player)for understanding. Then there is a focus upon the passive (grammar) and finally you use the information you have gained to write a report.
